SACRAMENTO, CA – Assemblymember Avelino Valencia (D-Anaheim) issued the following statement regarding the audit report on the City of Anaheim.

SACRAMENTO - Governor Gavin Newsom has signed AB 34 by Assemblymember Avelino Valencia (D-Anaheim), which will establish an Independent Redistricting Commission (IRC) in Orange County, into law.

SACRAMENTO - Governor Gavin Newsom has just signed into law Assembly Bill (AB) 1578 by Assemblymember Avelino Valencia (D-Anaheim), which clarifies requirements related to insurance agent license number disclosure law.

SACRAMENTO – The California State Senate voted 39-0 to pass AB 470, a Latino Caucus Priority bill, which would ensure Continuing Medical Education (CME) courses align with federal and state threshold language requirements.

ANAHEIM – Yesterday the City of Anaheim released a long-awaited report from an independent firm tasked with assessing allegations of political corruption in City Hall.

SACRAMENTO- Today, Assembly Bill (AB) 860 by Assemblymember Valencia (D-Anaheim) passed the Assembly Floor with unanimous bipartisan support.  AB 860 improves and streamlines small nonprofit grants.
