All this month on our socials, we have had the joy of shining a spotlight on some truly amazing women who are making waves in our community. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who sent in nominations—your support helps us celebrate the power and impact of women!
It is with this spirit of celebration that we are honored to recognize Sister Katherine Gray as the 2025 Woman of the Year for the 68th Assembly District. Sr. Gray has dedicated over 60 years to making a difference through her work with the Sisters of St. Joseph of Orange. Her extraordinary leadership in health care, education, and ministry has touched countless lives and brought people together to help those most in need. Sr. Gray’s grace, humility, and dedication makes her an inspiration to us all. Congratulations!

Since joining the State Assembly, I've focused on improving government accountability and transparency while supporting our working families, small businesses, and future innovators. Through this work, I've sought to make government more efficient and responsive to the needs of our communities.
Now, as Chair of the Assembly Banking and Finance Committee, I am honored to oversee financial institutions, consumer finance, and corporate securities law. This role presents exciting opportunities to address emerging financial technologies like cryptocurrency and modernize state financial systems to ensure security and efficiency for all Californians. I look forward to fostering financial stability and creating opportunities for growth that benefit every corner of our state.

We are excited to support the Orange County Job Fair, happening on April 24 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Santa Ana College. This event will feature over 70 top employers offering opportunities across a range of industries.
